Building a Brand Designed to Scale
Item 9 Labs entered the Arizona cannabis market with ambitious plans, large-scale growth goals, and a vision to become a major player in an industry that was evolving quickly. What they lacked at the time was a brand presence that matched the scale of where the company was headed.
Their existing identity felt disconnected, the website lacked structure, and the overall marketing approach had not yet found a confident direction in a highly competitive space.
Transforming the Brand Experience
We partnered with Item 9 Labs on a full-scale brand transformation designed to create a stronger, more recognizable identity across every touchpoint. That work included a complete website redesign, product packaging, apparel design, print collateral, editorial content, photography, video production, and large-scale digital asset development.
One of the most exciting parts of the project was helping push the brand into more culture-driven marketing initiatives. Campaigns like KushCash helped generate audience engagement and subscriber growth while creating a more distinct and memorable presence within the cannabis community.
Building Infrastructure for Growth
As the company expanded, we continued developing marketing systems built around scalability. Social media strategy, SMS and email campaigns, Google asset management, analytics, call tracking, and business development consultation all became part of a broader framework designed to support rapid growth and investor visibility.
Beyond the creative itself, a major part of the partnership was helping establish a stronger internal marketing infrastructure the company could continue building on long term.
While our partnership eventually concluded, the branding, strategy, and digital foundation developed during that time helped position Item 9 Labs for continued expansion and a far more recognizable presence in the cannabis industry.
